Brief summary

We are inviting adults with multiple sclerosis (MS) living in Australia to participate in an online survey to capture their opinions about the future directions of nutrition research for people with multiple sclerosis. The survey has been designed to include questions that will allow us to gain a better understanding of the needs of the MS community in relation to nutrition research. For example, what do people with MS want to see from research in nutrition and MS, how they would like to be involved in research, and what their preferred translation strategies for the findings are.

Participants will be asked demographic questions (e.g., age, level of education), multiple choice questions about their diet (e.g., “Are there any foods or drinks you avoid eating/drinking because of your MS?”), rating tasks on what are the main nutrition topics they want future research to focus on, and lastly, multiple-choice questions about how they would like to stay up to date with nutrition research. Getting a better understanding of consumer preferences will allow us to design and tailor nutrition research that is relevant to the MS community.
