Brief summary

A 10-minute online survey

This study aims to examine healthcare professionals’ attitudes and confidence toward providing nutrition care and their perceived challenges, educational needs and preferences in relation to integrating nutrition into routine MS care. Findings from this study will be used to guide the development of an evidence-based MS nutrition-focused educational tool to support healthcare professionals in initiating discussions with people living with MS to provide informed and evidence-based nutrition care.

The survey is focused on four key areas: (1), participants’ demographic and professionals’ characteristics, (2) attitudes and confidence towards incorporating nutrition into MS routine care (3), comorbidities in MS care and (4) educational needs and preferences. The survey contains close and open questions, Likert scale options, dichotomous categories (yes/no response) questions and a predefined list options identified from the literature. The option of “No further education required” could be selected in section four.
