Brief summary

Have your say in the development of dietary and lifestyle recommendations for people living with MS. To assist us in achieving our research aim, you will be asked to participate in three (3) online surveys to provide your feedback and/or opinion on a number of different dietary and lifestyle statements/recommendations, as well as effective behaviour change strategies that can ensure the adoption of these recommendations in a real-world setting. You will then be asked to vote on a scale of 1 to 7 (7: strongly agree, 6: agree, 5: somewhat agree, 4: neither agree nor disagree, 3: somewhat disagree, 2: disagree and 1: strongly disagree) according to how you agree/disagree with the recommendation. Upon completion of the study, your data will be contributing to a scientific publication, creating the first set of recommendations related to dietary and lifestyle management for people living with MS to promote optimal brain health. The study will be conducted online via Qualtrics, a survey management platform and all responses obtained by participants will be anonymous. Please contact Ms Olivia Wills (ow873@uowmail.edu.au) for more information or if you have any questions.

Further Details

It is expected that responses to the survey questions will take no more than thirty (30) minutes per round, to complete, and that each survey will be disseminated within ~four-weeks from the last survey. In total, participation in this research project should take no more than one (1) hour and forty (40) minutes (3 surveys x 30 minutes + 10-minute demographics) spaced over a period of twelve (12)-weeks. Apart from the time taken to complete each Delphi round, we anticipate no risks causing harm or emotional distress as the content is not sensitive or personal.
