Relapsing remitting MS
Our research uses advanced neuroscience techniques to explore how the nervous system controls muscles in multiple sclerosis, with a particular focus on muscle weakness, fatigue and sensorimotor function. Ultimately, we aim to identify how specific neurophysiological changes due to MS influence movement and disability (e.g. mobility impairment) so that future treatments can be developed.
We are looking to recruit individuals with relapsing-remitting MS aged between 20-65. You will attend one laboratory session (at Griffith University, Gold Coast) that will last for around 2 hours, in which you will have to complete a range of muscle contractions and forms of non-invasive neurophysiological testing. After the session, you will receive reimbursement in the form of a $100 gift voucher for Coles or Woolworths.
