In this module we take a closer look at the meaning of informed consent and the nature of voluntary participation in clinical trials. We discuss strategies to ensure informed decision making, engagement with the research team and provide support for withdrawing from a clinical trial. We speak with a person living with MS about approaches they used to ensure they were fully informed starting a clinical trial.
